This skin is for next month's FSO based around the RAF and Fleet Air Arm's attacks on the Norway-based German battleship Tirpitz in 1944. I'll submit it for the MA as well though.
This 1./KG77 Ju 88A-4 (torp) 3Z+OH was flown from France by the crew of pilot Gunther Hirschfield in an anti-shipping role during 1944. In line with its torpedo attack role the aircraft was painted in "wave camouflage" top and bottom. In this case a layer of black green squiggles were sprayed on underneath and a layer of light blue squiggles and a second layer of black green squiggles above the base factory scheme. The complex camouflage didn't save it though, on the 31st July 1944 it was shot down by a pair of P-51s and its crew all killed.
