Latest Radar Test 9.6.18

I sat in the tower of a base under attack by fighters and GVs. Fighter icons showed up but, I'm confused when the new test setting will reveal a tank Icon on radar.

New test setting:

Any enemy plane or vehicle showing an Icon to one of your countrymen, will now show on your radar.


Where GV's are concerned, if the GV is shutdown inside of trees and you drive 10ft from him, if you do not see any part of his Icon, his location is not shown on radar? Is this also true for GV's in the open engines running, your GV or your plane has to see his red Icon to display is location on radar as long as you stay in Icon visual contact?

If this is the case, storch drivers are going to become very important to revealing GVs.

Hitech atm it seems no Plane pilot has seen an enemy GV icon on the map.

I don't think I remember seeing GV icons on the map this round of the test, but the vehicle squares appear not only when near but also when someone else is.

I hate current arena setting (9.9.18) (and other test settings too).
It is not a setting that I want to actively play.
