Bustr has gone into great detail about terrain design. You and Shida didn't even bother, quite often, with such when you referenced Bustr (and it was specifically Bustr - and not his points). It's not that you can't grasp that. It's that you don't want to. I supported your skin work when you were at a particularly vulnerable point about it. I still do. Why not man up and acknowledge Bustr's contribution rather than play forum insult wars with him?

I got more out of a four minute video by Ciaphis than three years of bloviating, finger pointing, and attacks lathered with a syrup of "detail about terrain design" or whatever you want to call it.

You are a minority of one or two here.

I don't insult him.  I simply quote when he does it to others.

As for your support, trust me it is appreciated.   When I'm asked I help people out.  I don't run my mouth on the forum insulting everyone who asks me to make a skin or insist they learn how to do it themselves.  And when my work is critiqued I take it in stride--using the info to improve what I've done.  I don't bristle and start lashing out at those who made the suggestions, even if they happen to have never made a skin before.

Look bustr. I appreciate your patience and ability to make maps, it's great for the game. If I had time in my life right now to devote to this cause, I would try.  We were not discussing your maps or experience. We are discussing the buzzsaw map and it's "flow". It's been adjusted multiple times and still does not feel right. Most of your analysis revolved around tank spawns and strats but you guys aren't really seeing it from the fighter side. Your last most recent maps have been a lot better. That's why I feel like taking Buzzsaw out of rotation won't be a big deal. All I was saying was that I think it would be a waste of time to adjust it. Put your efforts on new maps and dump this one.

Nothing wrong with buzzsaw but the radar is still screwed up.

The new dar settings have got me zoomed in so close on the map it doesn't matter what map it is.

Buzzsaw fine, radar mode should be switched back to normal for the love of AH.

The new radar setting is the best thing to happen to this game in years.  Buzzsaw not so much.

The players will always fail to appreciate a challenging map because most can't adjust their game to extract fun from a new challenge.

They just fly the same stale mission profiles and complain loudly.

Although Buzzsaw is not a favorite map of mine, it does create a lot of action and not lengthy flights for fighters to find fights.  I don't see what someone flying a fighter, bomber or GV really has to complain about.  There are always fights to be had.  I think a map like NDISLES with the center island bases in tank town that couldn't be captured would keep fighters and GVers happy.  The non capture bases are always by HQ.  Why not put one for each country in the center of Buzzsaw?  That could help Buzzsaw.
