F10 Does Not Save View
« on: September 14, 2018, 09:07:02 PM »
I'm trying to save the up-back view in a ki43 and it will not save when I hit f10.  It can't be hard.  What did I do wrong?

Not just ki43, other planes I've tried cannot save the up/back view.

It works for other views.  Argh!

Found a work around.  Mapped "H" to view key.  Set view while holding down H.  F10 saved it.  Then unmapped H.

How old is your keyboard? Sounds like it might be wearing out on ya

Glad you found a workaround

Thought it might be keyboard, too.  But, F10 worked for other views.

I noticed there was a Look Back Up view that had no key assigned.  I always have used a combo key, back and up on keypad, and those keys are mapped to my stick which works find.  F10 wasn't working after adjusting my view.  So I assigned a key to Look Back Up.  Then I could use that key for the view, and move my "head" using pg up and pg down and the arrow keys.  This time when I hit F10, the new head position was saved.  I cleared the key assignment.  Then tested with the up/back key combination and all was good.

Weird.
