We need this for the co-pilot spot.

I don't understand the need for this.  More eye candy for nothing. All this work going in on this, while it could be spent on a new aircraft.   -1  :bhead

In VR it can detract from immersion to sit in an empty cockpit vs seeing the pilot's body move when you move.

This is a feature that can help both new and existing players.

Not sure how this will help keep the 20-minutes-and-out noobs, but hope that it will.

It would have been even more cool if he was at the controls of a newly created or updated plane model.

How about the rear seat of an AT-6 to give new players a check ride to sort out controls and basic game play?    :D

It might take two bribes to get Mr. Addink to think about old range channel.
Heck, I never did find out what his favorite donut was.  :headscratch:
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

you guys are never happy.  I remember when you guys used to complain about all the squeekers in the game.  you ran them off.  now you blame Hi-Tech for low numbers. there were people here who's only fun was to make people quit.

I wish you guys would shut up or at least say something productive instead of complaining about every change in the game.

play the game and if you aren't having fun then you have nobody to blame but yourselves.  change and adapt. lots of other players did and they're still having fun.

It's probably not meant to solve every noob problem, but for those who don't like an empty cockpit when they fly it will be nice.

I'm skeptical on how it will look for non-VR users.

It may be optional like so many other features.

yup

With the next release some planes will have pilots, both with or without VR.
It is an option that can be disabled.
