Wotan, I'm not complaining; I understand and support fully the idea behind the TOD. I did enjoy the scenario, and didn't let the fact that we were severely understrength ruin my enjoyment. I was just giving a healthy warning to the other guys
-- it's really easy to strip escorts off of fast bombers (b26s and Ju88s here), so don't chase single ships down. I really like to see pilots (myself included) mature as their scenario experience increases, and I think some feedback is the way to do it. Are my observations wrong? Maybe. But I'll still give them.
From my position, Dux was the first to go, and I saw tracers from no less than four planes land on him before he died.
I have no idea who got me, but there was a lot of traffic on my six. There's nothing worse than diving for safety, only to run into another strike force coming from that direction.
It happens, sometimes you get caught on the tracks between two trains. At least this time I have an excuse for getting shot down.
