Our new shipping and receiving area is finally getting done, as you can see in the first image we are a little crowded at the moment.  The area we are temporarily using for shipping and receiving makes me feel like Austin Powers, when he had to turn around the golf cart, every time I have to grab a skid.

Flooding is the main reason we had the addition built, we have if so it is 5ft higher than the rest of the building.

Ah.....the extra height lends itself perfectly to place loading docks.

What products do you work with?

Yes that is the main industry in our area.

I remember the first time we cut sintered metal on our laser.  I called Trumpf to see what they suggested for settings. They had no idea as they had never tried to cut any. They figured the sheet we had would probably melt. I told them I was going to cut some and would call them with the results along with any tables I developed.

That stuff cut like butter. In fact I turned our 6KW 5040 laser down to around 2000 watts to cut.

The reason it cut like butter is sintered metal usually uses a a plastic resin to harden it and fill in pores to make it able to be plated and machined.
