Some of it is going to depend on which headset you are using.

I find I have better abilities at spotting GVs in VR vs legacy-pilots.

Are your graphics turned all the way up in VR. I think i was above average at finding them at 1440p everything cranked up but now feel helpless even with the odyssey hmd resolution which is supposedly better than oculus.

Depends on your measure of what is best.

Oculus Rift has the smoothest game play experience by far.  That is due to the superior software drivers they have.

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend the Rift due to Facebook's handling of that business unit.  There is some speculation Facebook may just dump the Rift.

They appear to have cancelled the updated replacement for the Rift.

I bought an oculus rift dk2 for £47. It was still pretty much brand new with spare lenses/lens cloth/cables still in sealed bags. It runs astonishingly well on AH2. Took a week or so to get over the motion sickness but it's re-envigorated the game for me completely.

Yup, but I have shadows and reflections turned off, don't like them.

Ask the nit GVers, I am always hanging out over GV fights in a 9T spotting and shoving the odd 37mm down the turret tops of t-34s :)

I bought a LP120 record player instead to record my records to pc.

Seems like VR is going the way of force feedback joysticks

My CH kit still works fine

Pipz bought a warthog and said it was nice but overkill
