HT should be more forth coming what his future plans are for AHIII.

Well I can tell you from first hand knowledge that HTC was working on the next coming patch update this past Thursday afternoon/evening and the time was after 5 PM central and HiTech and I were on the phone with each other and both of us were logged in to one of the arenas at the same time....

I was showing him something I thought might possibly be a bug or issue...after a few messages he told me that he had fixed it for the next upcoming patch update for  AH3....

So that shoots down everyones negative thoughts and posts that HTC is putting all their time, money and resources only to WarOnline:Pacific

It's funny to watch others posting such nonsense and negative thoughts about what they think HTC is doing and don't have the common sense to realize how they are being disrespectful towards HiTech as well as pushing people away from the game by posting crap like that

Air combat. No tanks.

Had to read that twice - but knowing you, no 'h' is missing :)

I hope HTC succeeds with this - might give reason to dust off the old joystick.

Air combat. No tanks.

If the new game content is good and restricted to air combat only (perhaps AI for gvs) I would definitely move over and not use AH3 any more. My interest has been strictly aircraft in here and to be honest I think the GV part has detracted from that. I believe that AH3 tries to do too many things with a limited game development group. I know a lot of players and former players who think the same. I would put the $200 a year AH3 costs me into accessing aircraft in the new game.

I stopped using gvs when they stopped you having a squad player shooting for you :old:

This new game will be awesome and if your not interested no one cares :)

Okay, in April of 1945 Japanese ace Saburo lead a mixed squad of Fw-190A5s, A8s and Doras to intercept a B-29 raid. That means we had butcher birds in squadron strength so we get'm?!?! Haha

Seriously though, some technical questions:
1. Is it correct that this is compatible with Android, thus somehow it could be played on a smart phone?
2. Will it include stalls, thus good stallfighting?
3. Graphics compatible with a mid-range laptop?
4. Do we keep our old joystick and rudders, or is this X-Box type controller?
5. Open arena, thus we might see hundreds of planes in one big furball?
6. Does it include Buffs?
7. If Spits are allowed does this mean "The Few" are back in action? (If so, Loose Duece get's Butcher Birds.)
Bonus: I dibs the name "Boo".

Where did you read that?

It looks like it will use the same graphics engine and flight model that AH does. That is why they can roll it out so quick.

Most likely will have a limit like War Thunder

6. Does it include Buffs?

Doubt it, does War Thunder have buffs? I picture the game being close to the same as War Thunder

As its "Pacific" I doubt it, zeros and KIs vs F4s, F6 and hogs.

No 190s in the Pacific. That was a troll.

I've never played War Thunder, so no context for me. I'll wait for the Beta like the rest. Two weeks!

Personally I have no interest in the new game but I do hope that it will take some excessive whining out of this game and create two separate, healthy and strong communities.

what gets me is- there are people in wanting F3 mode for fighters

but begrudge me F# mode for the IL-2 in the Melee arena. :old:
