Well, the 5" and 8" guns on a task force are BAA (armored gun battery) on say a CV group #25.

On the CV (shp000) :  Front 5" twin = baa000      That would be:   .dt f25baa
                                       Back 5" twin  = baa001

      On the cruiser (shp005):  Front 1st 8"  =  baa018
                                            Front 2nd 8" =  baa019
                                            Back 8"        =  baa01A

                                            Front 5" twin =  baa016
                                            Back 5" twin  =  baa017

You can get these numbers by going to offline play>clipboard>options>arena settings>objects>destroy objects.  An easy way is to go to the hanger first and select guns as if you were going to get in one.  Then, do the clipboard thing as mentioned and look at the list of objects after you have selected the CV base#.  The objects are listed on each ship following the # of the ship (shp000, shp001, shp002, shp003, shp004 or shp005).  Then, destroy one of the guns listed above and see it turn red in the hanger.  This will only work for the manned guns.  The autos you must look from the tower in F4 the F8 using your hat switch to look around.  You will see the gun you choose to destroy blow up.  The one problem in game is that you need to know the cv base # of the enemy task group to see if the guns are down, because you cannot right click on an enemy task group icon on the map for downtimes.  There are some object designations I didn't list before because the are on the ships  (such as BAA, BAT, etc.)  You can find all these in the destroy objects list in the arena set up.

I started a map of all the task group man guns but never finished.  I'll let you know if I finish it

I hope I answered your question Shilo.

You can get downtime info from the clipboard map now too, pretty handy.
