Some question about TOD (Euro version)

Hi Daddog and CM team, I have some question:

1. I've seen the date planned for the 3 frames, but have'nt been capable to found a start time, there is one?  

2. And where?

3. It's mandatory to have a "TOD CO willing" pilot?

4. Registration page is already working, or is the old one, or can we register in other way?

Start time should be 11:00 eastern. (You'll want to be early if possible.)

Where is the SEA. (Special Events Arena)

Part of the TOD's very existance and reason for being was to
A get squads more involved in special events
B Get squads to help take some of the work out of running said events. Provideing a side CO is part of that. I'll let daddog make the ultimate decision on if it's manditory. But it is highly recomended.

Registration page should be working.

The 3 frames are for the upcoming series of the current TOD. The Euro TOD time slot hasn't been decided on yet. I think it's still being determined.

The TODs take place in the special events arena.

Not at all, but it's super easy and kinda fun to do. All that happens is you will get sent a list of say, 8 missions to choose from. You'll pick which 5-6 you want to do, then assign them to the rest of the squads.

This registration is still for the current TOD, and the Euro TOD is still in the creation process. The number of flyers expected, what time and day this should be held, two seperate TODs or one TOD etc. are all being assesed right now.

I personally don't know how long this will take, but it wouldn't suprise me if activity relating to the Euro introduction starts to happen in about 3-4 weeks. When that happens it takes a bit of work in setting them up (the registration process, dividing the squads up and evening the sides, getting everyone's contact information sorted, sending out and assigning the missions etc.).

So my guess, if the Euro details get settled soon, is it will probably happen somewhere on the order of a month or so.

I misunderstand TOD2 as EuroTOD, Doh!!

Yes, read the TOD rules carefully. Each squad must have someone be a Frame C.O. For most squads that is the C.O., but it does not have to be. For example in my squad the Frame C.O. is ozark, because my plate is full.

Oops, I misunderstood that. I know each squad needs a CO but thought that the overall Frame CO job was voluntary. Turns out I was mistaken.

Not a big deal though Naso - like I said it's super easy and you might enjoy it.

well doh!! I made sure every mission was taken care of! I thought that they all had to be accomplished, therefore I was worried that I made the allies spread a little thin, didnt matter though...we still kicked that axis booty

The first frame I sent out more missions then squads, but I quickly found out it was better to send out the same number of missions as squads.  Less room for error and helps insure all will likely see action.  

Not all CM's may do it this way, (Rojo, Duck, and Cobra may do it a bit differently) but it is the way I encourage them to do it.
