Axis CV Placement in Frame 2
« on: January 18, 2019, 11:43:57 PM »
To all:

Before this becomes a "thing" in the forums.  The set up team made an error in Axis CV placement.  It should have been in sector 10,8 and was placed in sector 9,9.

The Allies did locate the fleet there but were told it wasn't a target and didn't attack.

So the bad news is the CV attack never happened.

The good news is it appears everyone was able to get some action.

We will correct this in frame 3.

I apologize for the error.  We should be good to go moving forward.

Bummer. We looked to be clear for attack on the 9.9 fleet too. I think we beat the cap as well because we didn't see the defense until we turned back for 10.8.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Cap was beat when there was a 20 pilot advantage.  :D

Yeah there was a whopping 5 of us to cover the boat! Would have been another slaughter if there had been an attack.

Lucky for you 99% of our escort was flying around 10.8 whale-spotting. When those zeros hit we only had 1-2 FM2s with the bombers.

Yeah we buzzed around the cv all night and only saw one allied plane, TBM scout probably, lower than we were so no chance of catching him once he put his nose down. This one sure got scrambled up.
