JU88 torps
« on: January 29, 2019, 10:33:00 AM »
I need a How-to on this one. I remember a tutorial on Avenger torp runs a few years back stating where to drop and so on. In this crate its hard to see the torp run and to get away w'out getting creamed. Or hit anything. Also when you drop how can you tell how far can you are from your trgt/? I hear Silkworm is the undisputed master perhaps he might weigh  in on this .

Many thanks. Reviewed and tried in a TBM repeatedly in the training arena . Not much success.   After I drop the torp seems to disappear? Is this a bug?

Are you dropping at the correct altitude and speed?

Damage is off in the TA so you won't know if you hit your target unless you use it offline and turn off protect objects and set weapon leathality to 1.

Did you set a 41 degree bearing line?

Are you filming? AH film is a useful tool.

Zeno's has a training video from WW2 which is linked on the trainer's site. It assumes a different target speed but you might enjoy it if you haven't seen it.

You load the TA terrain, ahta08, for offline practice, then go to the clipboard arena settings.
