Amazing condition.  Guess it helps to be three miles down.

Wonder if we could at least hook that Wildcat?

Some fresh gas and a new battery and that tractor will start right up!

If we recover K-129 (little over 3 miles deep) Why not?

I was shock to see it there.  For a ship to sink 3 miles it remains there.

I would imagine it was tethered down to prevent it from rolling about.  Pretty amazing though.

Wow I find it hard to believe it has been almost 38 days since our last path. We should have release another 38 versions by now  :bhead

I am blown away by the structural integrity of the ship.  Just having that tractor sit there all these years, under water and not fall through the deck is pretty damn amazing to me.

The ship had to hit the bottom hard after falling that far.  Just amazing.

Looks almost pristine! The tires on the tractor look pretty good even. Heck of a hole though!  :uhoh

Apparently 45 feet of the stern is about a mile away in the debris field.  One Wildcat on the bottom so far as well.  Amazing that both the Yorktown and Hornet that went down in the war, outlasted the Enterprise that survived.  I know it's beyond reason, but it would sure be something to be able to walk the decks of some of these ships again.
