war online Pacific
« on: February 09, 2019, 05:25:03 PM »
do you have to download world online: from the web sight in order to transfer setting from AH3 to wo:p. because with my low internet speed it took 4 hrs. to download and I got this message-->  c:\users\lunatic\apdata\local\microsoft\windows\temporary\internetfiles\content.ie5\ccbf5nry\wop.exe. 1 or 2 letters may be wrong but basically that's what it shows.
so I downloaded the game thru steam had to make a file but I got it done, BUT every time I log in to play, I have to set everything elv. aileron, rudder, throttle etc. am I doing something wrong?

Certain settings that you currently are able to set your preference for in AH3 are not available in WarOnline:Pacific

1 of those being FOV setting (field of view)

I recommend people downloading WarOnline:Pacific and not transferring anything over from AH3, just set everything up fresh...

I don't use steam, but don't see why the non-steam version and steam version would have any difference between them in regards to the game itself

There have been several reports of the internet and certain ISPs have been getting hit with DOS attacks and connection slow downs for the past several days

Not sure why the game isn't saving your settings that you have programmed and saved

Hope this helps

but every time I log in through Steam I have to reset everything--Fov is fine the way it is, looks like its set close to 106.0 which is what I use any way.

Where does HTC want us WO:P players to post bugs, constructive critic, opinions, wishlist etc?

I would like to know this as well.
Is there a place for bug reports and help?

Hitech has been posting here about it.  Try bug reports, wishlist, etc.

I doubt HTC wants another forum to check, enough work already with three.
