While doing the AK review of the logs, I noticed a minor error.  While the kills and assists looks right for the individual credit, those shot down were not attributed to the individual who shot them down but rather to someone who got the assist.

Example:

AKCAT
22:05:16 Departed from Field #22 in a F4F-4
22:55:59 Shot down a A6M2 flown by Vulcan.

Razor
22:05:41 Departed from Field #22 in a SBD-5
22:55:59 Helps AKCAT shoot down Vulcan.

Vulcan
22:05:11 Departed from Field #95 in a A6M2
22:55:59 Was shot down by Razor.

From what I can tell this occurred whenever there was an assist involved.

This has been an ongoing issue from what I've noticed.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I'm more concerned with the 88mm rear guns the SBD's had.

Yes, it has been reported multiple times but no fix as of yet. :(

This setup was the most lopsided i have encountered in any FSO i can remember.
If real life were the same as this pacific FSO, the IJN should have been defeated in a week.

I agree and I designed it. A6M2 vs. F4F is not what it used to be, it seems. Also, the SBD's advantages over the D3A were pretty evident.

I am sorry for the results, but Midway and Coral Sea are typically the most balanced Pacific setups available.

Then it's not the setup. It's the unwillingness to play the setup.  :aok

Sadly, early Pacific setups aren't that glamorous. Population usually drops for Pacific in general, let alone early Pacific.

From what I recall frames 1 and 3 were plenty lopsided.  Frame 2 however I believe numbers were 50 / 50.   Damage numbers will be a big factor.   I'm thinking the Axis did well in frame 3.

My apologies, I meant no disrespect. What I meant was that they do not attract as many people as other theaters of the war.
