Can anyone give me an explanation on the best way to get custom textures to tile seamlessly?

Ive been working on a set of custom textures for my Philippines terrain for awhile and cant get the forest texture to tile w/o a noticeable line.

Ive tried KPT 3 seamless welder in both seamless and reflective modes and can still see the tile edges,Ive also masked by hand with better results but still see the annoying line.

The grass texture I made has a barely noticeable edge and is satisfactory,my water texture tiles *perfectly* and has no problems.

Ive made at least 10 different forest textures trying to get past this w/o much luck.

 EDIT:

Figured out the problem,it was a combination of the colors and the texture combinations I used while creating the original TIF,as an added bonus I`ve also reduced the "shimmering" effect that results from texture compression in D3D games, its almost non existant now.

I`m going to fine tune it  bit more before I release it to the CM Group and HTC for testing then will make it available for download to the AH community.

If you have red/green color vision problems your going to love this.  <G>
