Hey, Jihad,

Sorry to keep bugin you, I hope I can stop after this!

You helped me out last time, I have photodelux and the canvas size worked like a charm.  Now I have another problem, I cant put the grid on the clipboard map. How did you copy JUST the grid without its BG to your map image?

Did you see the new hot-rod Luftwaffe bomber? I'm making a Battle of Britain map, Just in time for the Blitz!

Thks for your time,
Presider

I'm interested in that answer.

Hmm..  Why do I seem to recall something about a transparent back ground that has your grid outline on it then just paste it over your map.  If I'm right about this then I guess you would make a template of it for future maps.

Ok just tried this and it worked.

Go to aheditor/terrains/maps and double click the grid size you want  64, 128, 256 or 512.  This will open paint.  Go to (edit), then (select all) and (copy).

Now yourterrainmap.bmp must be in 24bit color.  Double click  yourterrain.bmp which will open paint.  Go to (edit) then (paste) and then click on (image) and uncheck (Draw_opaque).  That's it.

Now  you need to convert yourterrainmap.bmp to 256bit/color for it to work in aces high.

In Photoshop copy the correct grid bmp <256,512,etc> and paste it onto your clipboard map, then I use the auto contrast function to sharpen up the grid lines and numbers.

Using the eyedropper tool click on the white color of the pasted layer and then select multiply in the layer options menu, the white color should disappear, merge the layer and your ready to use the canvas size command to make your 256x256 tiles.
