« on: November 19, 2000, 04:53:00 AM »
Ok i finished a map earlier today and when i save/built it the file size was

2,307kb,  it was not a big map by no means and i dont know why it is doing this! 2.3mb!

what is the step by step procedure to save/build a map to the point where it is ready tp be moved to the aces terrain folder.
please help me with this, i have a very nice map that i have spent a long time on and now i am stuck.

Quick question, what size did you set your terrain too in the editor?

Will make a big difference if it's 64x64 miles or if it's 512x512.

the size is default, the .res file is for some reason the same size as the whole folder for that terrain. most my terrains are like 28k or so and now they are coming out at a little over 2 mb.
