The current version of the editor, is it compatible with 1.08?

You really don't need to worry about what version of aces high you have when using the editor.

The ownly thing with the editor is that it may not have lastest stuff that is in the newest version of aces.

Like right now with the editor2 we can not place trains or the newest air fields until they update the editor.

You can still make your terrain maps and update them when the new editor comes out.  That way you can have your map 95% done and just touch it up with the new editor when it comes out.

The answer is yes, it is compatable.

The updated objects (trains, convoys etc.) are missing.

Also, Editor Version 1 has a 64 field limit.
Editor Version 2 does not.  ;)

Oh BTW,
When placing Runways, make sure that you get them centered.
The old editor displays the short runways, but 1.08 adjusts them to the new longer length.
If you have them hanging outside the grid, you will get a diappearing effect where it crosses the grid line.
