New computer

OK, I have what I feel should be a dumb question, however its one I cant figure out for anything.  I built a new computer and I cannot figure out or find any path to log in and play on my current paid account.  I see where I can create an account or cancel an account but I see no where to log in.  Very very frustrating.  Please help.

When you open the game and click online arenas it should go straight to the page where you type in your user name and password. Or do you mean you can't find the shortcut to launch?

When you launch the game, the first time the notepad open click "account admin" type in your login info and password and you should be ok.

When I go to the admin section it only gives me options to update info, create a subscription, or delete account.  When I try to log into an arena it only asks for my user name and when I enter my user name it just says user name already taken.  I don’t see any link to log on to my account.

Go to your settings folder and find the login.cfg. Open it with notepad and enter the correct info (user name on first line, password on second line) and save it.  That may or may not work but it couldn't hurt to try.

EDIT: Are you running the stand alone version or steam version?

The Steam version does not use the same log in. It's a different account.

When you select online arenas you get the log in screen where you enter your id and password.

Have you always used the steam account or are you switching to it? One of my accounts is a through steam and I seem to recall having that issue once. I'm trying to remember what I did to fix it but I'm drawing a blank. I may have given up and switched names, but I'm not completely sure. If possible I would hold off and call the office when they open.

He's playing since 2007, I think that would be a regular account. You cannot log into steam with a regular account. Steam does not need an AH password because you already use one for steam.

Never played on steam before, built the new computer and for some reason ended up with the steam version.  Junking it an dgoing back to the original.

Did you download it from steam? If not then I believe the stand alone download includes launchers for all versions. You would just need to create a shortcut for the version you need
