There's been quite a few Luftwaffe Battle of Britain skins added to the game recently so I thought I'd do an RAF one for a change. This is an update of a skin originally created by 417Jocko in 2008, before bump and spec maps were added to the game. Lacking these files the current skin now suffers from "AH3 chrome skin syndrome" which is a shame because otherwise it is really nicely done. My replacement skin adds the new specular, normal, environmental and power map files which should make it look a lot better in the game.
This Spitfire Mk I served with 610 (County of Chester) Squadron at Biggin Hill from 2nd June 1940. It was written off following damage received while in combat with a Bf109 near Dover on 8th August.
