I recently came across a YouTube channel ran by an airline pilot who delves into the science of why certain aircraft performed certain ways, and also to dispel a lot of myths. It's called "Greg's Airplanes and Automobiles".

It gets pretty complicated for an armchair historian like me, but I still learn a lot from it.
