My earliest memory of "Operation Petticoat" was in Izmir, Turkey
and my girl friend at the time wanting to "make out"... I watched
the movie?

While the movie is indeed that good I'm suspecting the girlfriend didn't apply the proper technique? I, of course, could be wrong.  :old:

Maybe she was easier to pass in a sub.   :D

Reminds me of when I was set up on a blind date back in 2005. The weather was awful so we decided to go to the movies. Not much looked good, and she did not do horror flicks, so we ended up seeing Serenity - I never watched Firefly, but I knew of it. So I figured it could be ok to check out.

I ended up falling in love that night in October... with the movie.  :devil

This movie was always funny, but after having served on two different submarines, especially the last diesel boat in the USN, it is a 1,000 times funnier :)
