In keeping with the Stephen King novel and mini-series, 11/22/63 was a great time travel story. Using that concept. he established that changing an event does change the future (your present when you return) and time becomes a force to prevent said change. Let's say you arrived 5 years prior to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. What would you do armed with the knowledge of how that day unfolds?
Arrival time around summer 1936.
Arrival destination outside the greater St. Louis area.
Arrival clothing consists of blue jeans, Air Jordans, Walt Disney t-shirt, and Jacksonville jaguar's hat.
Arrival money is all from 21st century printing and coin stamping plus credit cards.
Seems simple. You have to take into account.
1) No money, no 1930s style clothing and no 1930s era identification
2) No knowledge of how specific everyday life goes in initial first few weeks.
You arrive during the Great Depression and you stick out like Marty McFly in 1955. You have to keep from being arrested or being thrown in looney bin first few days.
Any takers? I'll be writing up my version and post later.
