Oculus Rift S Stuck on load screen
« on: December 03, 2019, 07:06:29 PM »
My friend is wanting to try Aces High 3 with the Oculus Rift S (same VR setup that I have). However, every time he opens the game and clicks "yes" to use the Oculus, it goes to white screen on his desktop, his Oculus is stuck with the loading icon up and he has the noise of the main menu. He is unable to get past this unless he exits the VR, and runs it on the desktop. I have never had these issues. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix these issues?

Could his computer be on the low side? Running both programs at the same time isnt something a weak or even an average computer can do.

No, his is up to par with mine if not better than mine. I am still waiting on him to confirm to me the specs so I can add them on here.

Problem was solved, he has a laptop and had to set the game to complicatedly run on the high performance graphics card. A tutorial for that is in the following link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xxmLi_-lNw

Can't he just select the GPU he wants to use in AH3 before he launches it in VR?

Yes, that is what he had done and it worked.
