Looking at how lean and clean the inside is makes me wonder why cable management had to be so difficult when the video cards and air coolers were much smaller. Yet there's much less material used in modern quality cases than in the nineties when a regular office computer case was made of 2 mm thick solid steel weighing 20 kg's!

  Time for an upgrade

I really need a better video card, but an overall system upgrade is out of the question until this one goes kaput. I just upgraded the CPU earlier this year to as high as this motherboard will accept, and upped the ram from 4 to 8, which is also the max for this board.

My Core2Duo could run AH3 very well after I put in a GTX970. The rest was pretty much similar to yours.

Yikes, thats way out of my budget. I have about $100 and thats just because of the amazon gift cards. About anything is better then what I am running right now

Get a second hand GTX 970, they are within your budget on ebay. Same goes for GTX 1060. The 3GB version is said to lack some power so the 6 GB version may be worth the extra tenners. They are available as a no-extra-power version as well which may be good if your PSU doesn't have the 6+8 pin connectors needed for the 970.

The 1060 is the closest I can budget for, I believe that is what I will likely decide on unless I can get a better deal on something a little more powerful

Got the 1060 today (hooray for next day air) and am getting around 55 FPS in the training arena with the sliders close to max detail, where I would get max at 30 FPS with everything disabled.
