VBase capture

LAst night I launched a tank into one of our Vbases. As soon as I launched I saw an M3 w troops unload and capture the base. Do not the hangers have to be down as well as the guns for a capture?

Only the auto ack guns need to be down to capture vehicle bases and ports.  Hangars and manned guns can be up.

It's a good idea to knock out man'd guns as some of these guys are crack shots in 'em.

Also if the base is flashing and shows a red go “dar” a quick look around from the hanger in F3 mode will help you spot any “campers” if troops are running be careful, if the base gets captured all the guns will turn on you. You see a m3 pull up to map room and troops are not out yet, fastest response is get in a Jeep, man the gun and “kill the troops” at least get one. The worry about the m3s gun. He has to be in the drivers seat to unload troops and just stay there till they are all out so he won’t shoot at you until then.
