World not loading

I have been a member for around a week now but since the new map (world) was downloaded it will load about 1/3 of the way (watching the status bar) then kick me back to the desktop. I am a paying member so their must be an issue with the new world download. I have tried 6 times to get into the open melee but no joy. Help!

Just an F.Y.I.   The "Steal the Sheep" world seems to load OK so there must be a problem with the world I downloaded in the open melee arena. Not sure how to re-download it.

Could anti virus cause that maybe? Have you tried to disable it and try? I am probably completely wrong but it may be worth a try

Thanks for the reply. I am not running any anti virus. I have loaded 3 other worlds (when a country wins, a new world is downloaded) and the others have worked just fine until this new one today. I wonder if I could delete whatever files that were downloaded and re-download the latest world. I have no idea who to contact over this. I like to play every day but this is truly depressing but thanks for helping. I have been a member off and on since Air Warriors in the 90's and have never had a problem until now.

I don't think it would hurt to delete the terrain files, or I guess you could try re installing. Otherwise someone who knows a little better should chime in shortly

You can set up a custom arena online and choose the terrain you want to download. There will be a list.

You need to know the name of the terrain that crashed. I don't know what's in rotation at the moment.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I still have 309 gig of hd space left and I am running 16 gig of ram. I bought this computer a few months ago just for Aces High (it has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 video card - 4 gig). I will attempt to delete worlds and reload since that seems to be my only option. Is there a contact for High Tech Creations so I can find out what world the open melee switched to yesterday when the problem started? Thanks again!

Just an FYI...I deleted the fjordma.res file (the current map) and after it reloaded it still does the same thing. I hope the universe isn't telling me my flying days are over but I guess time will tell...

You only crash trying to enter the MA?

Does the terrain work offline?

HTC helped me correct the problem. I had to re-load the game and now it works fine. Thanks to all that tried to help.
