Having a problem, not with the editor......I cant see to find a way to get a .dem file in there......

I used the mapmaker prog to create the  *.typ and *.elv files no problem.  The instructions say to create a terrain in the editor, save it, then replace the  *.typ and *.elv files with those exported by mapmaker.  Ok, so now what?

When I run the editor agaon the terrain hasnt changed.  I saw a TERRAIN button on the clipboard but there's nothing in the choice box......how do I load the terrain into the editor?

(prolly me just being thick here but need help.....)

Do you mean that the clipboard map picture hasn't changed?  If you didn't do the 4 bmp's yourself, then it can't have changed.

So, until we go further, did you "take a ride" with the editor and see if the terrain has really changed? Or did you make the assumption based on the pic on the clipboard?  The clipboard map lies, you know!

Like they say, RTFM.

Hope this helps!
