I was wondering if he was ever going to open her up and go WOT/full AB.....he came close 10:50 minutes/seconds in but that looked about 1/2 to 2/3rds Afterburner from my recollection....

Thanks for sharing.... Doing high power turn quals in the phantom II were some of my funnest things to do

Here's a bunch of J79s.     They got some of the planes and many spares from the italian air force.

AB Lightoff about 10:40.

Bah.  Fake news.  No smelly smoke clouds, the hanger didn't move an inch, and the bystander retained his hearing.

That's crazy.

He has a 1989 camaro with a big block in the same paint scheme.

If you go there on a friday or saturday, you might see us running cars or other vehicles down the runway for straight line aerodynamic testing.

..and it didn't suck in the squadron cat...unlike Puma did on squad night showing off his recently purchased surplus F-106 Delta back in 2014.  :furious

Poor Goose. He was furious at Puma after that for weeks.   :D
