editor wont run

Installed the editor and it looks very nice.but only got it to run once.now it just wont start it just kicks of all the time
Reinstalled it and uninstalled it, reinstalled it again. But still dont get it to run, What is wrong?

I had the problem too after some wild file deletions.    Try this:

Go to "AHeditor\terrains" and try renaming any folder that contains data of the terrains you made.  

I believe the only folders that should remain are:

-blank
-groups
-maps
-newterr

Rename any other folder and see what happens.    Also renaming all other .res files than "newterr.res" might help.

Don't blame me if it blows up in your face.

I ran into a similar problem: I set the editor to my new terrain but then deleted the terrain and the next time the editor did not launch.  I copied all the newterr.* files to the new folder and renamed them to the deleted terrain, then I made a copy of newterr.res and renamed it and it to the deleted terrain and it worked fine.

Hmmm that sounds like it shouldn't have taken me 45 minutes to figure out, and an uninstall/reinstall of the editor.  DOH!
