this is a really great way to learn the insides of the game. its a lot of fun and very exciting....especially when you suddenly see "terrain changing in 5 minutes".
ive been one of the AVA CM's for years and truly enjoy it. you get to work with a fun bunch of guys and do some really nifty stuff.
having "flame pants" comes with the territory because when something bad happens or if people don't like something, you'll be the first to know about it.

even if you're not sure, give it a try. you might find you really like it. I got sucked into AVA admin probably 10 years ago by a player named oldman.
to this day I curse him, yet thank him, because its one of the best experiences ever!
