Hey Folks,

Just a reminder.  If you go under Display Settings (hit the '+') you can use those settings to change the appearance of the plot in the window (especially the relief plot).  For terrains that don't vary much in elevation, this will bring out the contours.  Here is an example:

Under normal default conditions this is pretty much an all white screen when in relief map.

Playing with the direction of the light source will also change the appearance.

Just some tidbits for those using screen captures from MapMaker to develop their clipboard maps.

P.S.  You can also use the terrain cover plot for your maps as well.  The added bonus here is that water and cities (which show up as rock texture) are present on your maps.
