Stopped on the runway, engine off, and get you have ditched. Even if I just type .fly then .ef its still gives ditch? Any ideas?

Is the airfield custom made or one of the standard airfields?  You may need to set the ground under the airfield to have a type of Runway.

I didn't make the terrain so I couldn't tell you, was just wondering if this was a common bug or just that this terrain was not correctly setup....

It sounds like the runway isn't set to "runway" in the editor.
