-----MA HIGH ALTITUDE STRATEGIC BOMBING MISSION FRIDAY 05-01-20-----



Good morning everyone,

MA missions are slowly returning to Aces High!  I will once again be running a strat run mission on Friday 05-01-20 in the main arena.  Targets will be announced at 1930 here on the BB.
We will be launching with as many B17Gs as we can!  I hope we can get as many people as possible to take part, these missions seem to be gaining traction!  If you have any suggestions on how to improve said mission please let me know.
If you are looking for something fun for you and your squad to take part in then feel free to hop in as a group (Friendly Or Hostile)!  Last week we learned a valuable lesson, always bring fighter escorts...  We won't make that mistake again!  Relevant information will be posted below.

Notice: If any Fighter Squadrons would like to fly escort for the Bombers (Knights) please PM me on the BB or in game and let me know.  Even if only a single squad willing to escort would add a lot to the mission.

Mass missions like this are what what make Aces High so unique and keep me paying my monthly tribute to Hitech.  If we can keep growing out missions (of any kind) to something of an "dude this looks crazy!" scale we might just rope on a few more people.  I personally sit on the fence, but as stated above the potential scale of combat is unrivaled and keeps me on the hook. <S>FBTrev95/Riftval

Buying a house soon (closing should be next week). Gimme another month to get settled, find a stick and pedals, and I will be in like Flynt!

I love flying heavies! (Mostly because I suck at ACM.)  ;)

Sorry I couldn't make this one. Homework avalanche (a procrastinator's nightmare). Still shoveling for I have frame one of an event at 2 central time.

My notes..   Without escort, we decided to come in really high. 34k. I don't remember the last time ( if ever ) I had a B17 that high.





First greeter was a 110 that fired rockets, though an F4U-1D was lurking around for awhile.



TA-152 and P47M joined in.  Could tell it was about to get busy.

With as many pieces missing and holes, there weren't many warm fuzzies with the F4U closing in.

Turt21 sorry you missed it man!  I announce the mission on the BB every Tuesday morning, then in the MA at 1930EST (30 minutes prior to launch on Friday).  Hopefully you can make it next week! <S>

APDrone these are some awesome screen shots thanks for sharing!  I did feel kinda bad for the defenders, we were supper high up - Bombing alt was 32K.  Hopefully next week we will have  a few more pilots and can fly a little lower and not need altitude as protection. <S>
