Rollercoaster Park Online Game?
« on: May 06, 2020, 09:13:07 PM »
20 years, Rollercoaster Tycoon is the best in theme park building,  It's only a desktop game.  What if that was designed to be a MMORPG?

Is it feasible?  How would the players interact?  What would be the economic dynamics?  Simple questions.

I just opened up an account with Steam.  For 10 bucks, I bought Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 and expansion packs.  The original CDs will not load in todays OS.  It got me thinking that for those who know some of these answers might reply back with their thoughts.  I have Rollercoaster 1, 2 and 3 in CDs.  2 is my favorite.

If a developer found a way to market an online version for players to compete, then I would definetily play.  The only ride that never was put in was my Tilt-A-Whirl.  Best stationary ride in a carnival.
Chuck Norris can pick oranges from an apple tree and make the best lemonade in the world. Every morning when you wake up, swallow a live toad. Nothing worse can happen to you for the rest of the day. They say money can't buy happiness. I would like the opportunity to find out. Why be serious?

Look into Planet series. Planet Zoo has an MMO style economic system that is global. Read about it and see if that strikes your fancy.
