Great build! I was looking to accomplish something similar today that would be VR ready and last up to 5years. For VR, I settled on the HP reverb g2 VR headset based on some of the other forum reviews here. This set the requirements for the graphics, which set the requirements for the desktop. Unfortunately, it seems most of the recommended graphics cards are sold out... so to buy something now, I spent all day researching the systems pre-populated with the compatible graphics cards... looked at all the major gaming brands (HP, DELL, MSI, Asus and more). I wanted an intel processor, moderate to high end graphics card and VR when the reverb g2 starts shipping. I ended up paying a little bit more. But, I'm satisfied with the result. For those of us who have never built one before, this might be the most affordable current option. Here is what I settled on and some links I found during my research. Good luck everyone!

That should do the job.

The only thing I see about it is the processor. The f denotes no on board video. Not a big deal but I like to have that as a fail safe if my video card should fail.
