mic trouble

  last patch or one before that my mic stopped working, got 2 different headsets with mics and still no one can hear me. any ideas?

Hiya Bortas... had the same problem awhile back... make sure ur mic is selected in the WinDos and the driver of ur hs/mic...
test by setting the Radio bar to ur name... thats all I got

Make sure that the mic and headset your using is selected in windows. Then again the same in the game. Test in both places

Aces High will use whichever mic and audio you set in the game, even if they are not on the same headset. There is a VR setting and the regular non-VR setting.

Go on-line and set your broadcast channel to yourself, then work through the audio settings until you hear yourself.
There are 4 settings in-game, speaker layout, microphone, speakers, and headset.
In Windows, be sure to enable 'applications can select audio device', or however it's worded.

Remember to check for any mute buttons etc on your headset and confirm click the OK after completing your audio modifications.

  thanks for replys you guys  ok driver updates helped except all I get in game are clicks. no one can hear anything but that. I can hear myself just not in game. is there any game settings im missing?

Yes, see the post above your question.
You get there by Preferences/Game Sounds.
Also, that's where you also find the Advanced settings button.

Make sure mute is not on and mic volume not high enough

No mute button as such but you can definitely kill your mic in the settings as Ack-Ack says, by selecting an unused mic or dropping the volume on the active headset. I've done it many times switching between vr and my monitor.

The regular way, is when you have a mute button on your headset. There are two ways of doing that on a Steelseries headset for instance, a button and the mic boom being retracted.
