Is their an Easymode option
« on: May 03, 2000, 08:22:00 AM »
Just curious if AH has an easymode flight option in the Main Arena or is realistic mode turned on all the time?

Some people tell me the AH easymode is the Spitfire.

I hate them.

What do you hate funked?

Spitfires or people who say Spits are easy mode?

you might say "most people"
the easy to fly and fight issue has never been contested as far as I know.
Ram1 dont call yourself that...we allready have a Ram and that will cause confusion for 6 calling etc.. Maybe call yourself Lamb or something...

Ram1,

There is no "easy mode" in that there is no option to modify the flight dynamics in Aces High.  There is an "auto takeoff" feature that will start the engine, throttle up, lift off and retract gear then put you in auto climb.  This was done because many of the new people to AH didn't have provisions for rudder control in there flight controllers.  The result was they were slewing all over the runway or just spinning in place on the ground (especially in the Corsair)

Other than that no easymode.

I've been ram1 for too many years and I'm not gonna change. But you don't have to worry since I'm not flying AH, just yet.

Thanks guys, that helps alot.

ROTFLOL !  I doubt very much Ram1 will go with Lamb. hehe.  Maybe EWE ? Hehe.

<S> Ram1, all in fun of course.  We don't get down on folks over here as AGW, so don't take
any of this seriously.

BTW, many discussions over here about WB's and WW2 online, feel free to say whatever you'd like, no one will come down on you.

Hey Ram1, come on in! For a start AH feels bit strange after years in WB but soon you adjust to AH and after that you will start to appreciate things it can offer.

I was totally bored with WB and then I decided to really try AH and I haven't looked back since. Every new version is like christmas and in arenas there are so much more to do, vehicles and soon boats.

I hope we will see you in AH soon!

Delta, I don't really hate anybody (except the Dallas Cowboys), but I was referring to the Spit-Whiner Lobby.

Just havin' fun.

I once saw a Dallas Cowboy star running back driving a Barbie-Fire, "With room for Ken in the back!" down the road  and thought of you, Funked.
