DII football has a 28-team playoff. Up to 5 post-season games.  So it might work OK.  We'll probably get to see how it goes.

Well, I do know one thing for sure.  Rush is an awesome band.  :rock  :aok

I hope so.  Any expansion would be good for the current bowl format.

With Texas and OU heading to SEC lots of discussions on the rest of BigXII team.  This past 6 hours ago, next team looking for new real estate is KU eyeing on Big10. …..not shocked about this.  Great for the basketball program.

Texas and Oklahoma to SEC guts the Big 12.

It might also trigger lots of other changes (departures from Pac 12 and ACC, additions to Big 10 and maybe more to SEC).

The Power 5 might end up as the Power 2.

ACC schools such as FSU and Clemson are tied to the ACC for a very long time due to the Grant of Rights agreement they foolishly signed years ago.  It binds them to the conference for I believe another 15 years.  And to think before signing the GoR contract with the ACC, FSU was invited to join the SEC but turned down the opportunity after some lobbying from Bobby Bowden.    Bowden, on record said it would be too difficult to compete for championships while playing in the SEC.  Let's just say the FSU fan base is not very happy right now and that just breaks my Gator heart.

This will not be tOSU year.   Going to call it now, PSU will beat buckeye. Mich will still lose to the buckeyes.  Big10 championship will be PSU vs Wis with PSU winning.  Psu going undefeated if they beat aurbun, Iowa and buckeye.

Don't give up. Ohio State can afford to lose twice and still make the playoffs unlike every other school save 3-5.

With that horrible QB,  they better just focused on beating Michigan.

Must be a bummer to have an average player any where on the field. Welcome to the life of 99% of the rest of college football fans.

Btw, trivialities about Purdue's 49-0 win over UConn:

Previous shutout of any kind: 59-0 over SEMO in 2011
Previous shutout of FBS school: 51-0 over Syracuse in 2004
Previous road shutout: 35-0 at Northwestern in 1981.
Previous 49-point road win: 56-7 at IU in 1997.
Previous biggest road point spread on road in Modern Era (post WWII): 55 points, 62-7 at Boston U, 1947.

Notre Dame next in South Bend.

I didn't know UConn still had a football team.
