Uninstall Aces High II
« on: November 13, 2020, 02:26:01 PM »
Need to free up some disc space pronto. How to I completely uninstall AH II? Also, that won't mess with my AH III DX11 install, right? Last but not least, I'm getting another SSD and using it as a second drive to store my games on. What files do I need to backup so I can just replace the new install files with them and retain all my info and flight control settings?

Go to control panel/programs and features in Windows. Find the correct listing and you can uninstall  it.

Didn't AH3 overwrite AH2?

No, I still have a AH2 install on my desktop. If I move my AH3 to my new drive, do I just copy all the AH3 files and copy and paste to the new folder after install?

That should work. Or rather copy and paste the AH files first and install over that.

The basic version is to install on the new drive and just replace the Settings folder.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.
