Looking for records (75th FS, 23rd FG, 14th AF, CBI Theater)

Have a pet project I’m working on trying to find some specifics about aircraft numbers and such for a particular pilot. Going on 20 years ago I attended the dedication of the AVG/Flying Tigers monument at the USAF Museum in Dayton as a guest of the daughter of a former pilot.  Shaking hands with Tex Hill and the then colonel PJ Johnson (DFC recipient from Gulf War 1) among many others of the squadrons throughout the years was a memory that won’t fade.

Anyone know where and how to get records with regards to what ships were used on particular missions or a collection of squadron specific photos?

Looking for a range from September 1943 to at least June 1944 as I know he flew P40s, P51s and P47s (believe this to be post war from my research) but there’s a 12/12/1943 mission where he shot down two enemy aircraft in most interested in.
