I feel a bigger sense of betrayal when I see "huzzah! 70 players!" and log in and see 20 in flight.  I'm used to it, but it would be easy for it to feel like a bait-and-switch.

Curious when you normally fly. I work so I only see the arena when it has 150 or more in it. USA central.

Normally around 8 Eastern for an hour or so.  If it's good, sometimes I'll hang around up until around 12 Eastern.  The times I'm talking about are outside that.

8-12 Eastern is what I consider "US prime time" and yes, it's decent then.  If you get on on a Saturday or Sunday morning/early afternoon, or moreso on a weekday morning/afternoon, not so much.

I agree however that in flight numbers vs country numbers IS close to even when i look at it.

The problem is when the arena numbers are REALLY low, and 2 guys makes a huge difference.

you can just up in a rear base.

booting or not booting will not affect or is it effect the game.  and I may not fly but a couple of times I did nail your 262.
