If so I am curious as to which company ya might deal with/ work with

Haven't really had anyone me or my late father could truly trust since Damned Buzzard (Mike Goss) passed...

He was the only Broker that Dad and I trusted through and through

I use bullion vault for spot pricing and wish I caught it back on December 27th hit $26.70 per ounce....

I really needed to sell roughly 3 kilograms of silver bullion at $858.34 per kg

Got foreclosure set for February 1st if I can't get it caught up... was going to sell some collector rifles but have  been having a hard time coming to terms with that..... actually having a hard time getting up off of any silver or gold....

Damn, I  need a Xanax,  cup of joe and get ready for my Bible study hour at 5 am.....

You might be able to find a local coin or precious-metals dealer who will buy it from you at spot price minus some amount.  They you don't need to pay shipping.

There are also online places that will buy bullion, such as apmex, sdbullion, jmbullion.   They pay spot minus some amount depending on what you are selling, and you have to pay shipping.

appreciate the reply, Brooke.... depending on which way I decide to go, I most likely will sell off some silver bullion coins, for they bring a higher premium more so than selling bars sometimes as much as anywhere from 20% to 80% over spot price depending on the rarity of the coin, etc... to where the bars you usually take a slight hit, getting a little less than spot price

what is so upsetting is most of the dang banks in town are locked doors, with only drive-thru & ATM open for service....and they will not do this kind of transaction through the drive-thru

My primary bank has had the lobby/offices closed to the public since March because of this Covid-19 BS.... makes it kinda hard to do business even if the Bank Manager is a life long friend I grew up with and partied with in high school, heh.... Kerri and I have talked over the phone, so  I've got her trying to help and watching for me...we both have price alert alarms set on each of our dumbphones

I got 2 different coin, silver & gold dealers that my family has dealt with here locally, after we lost Buzzard... but it does take a bit of a drive towards Charlotte or Greensboro from where I live

just need to take this slowly before I pull the trigger and follow through with the transaction... the silver & gold was never meant to be used for this type of scenario... my parents were, and I have been holding on and accumulating over the years for when the time comes that one will need it to barter with etc.... when everything goes apechit and the dollar ( any paper legal tender ) is only worth wiping yer arse with and the economy falls through to and open bottomless pit   <---- just my observation of where this world is headed...

I've used a couple companies for silver and gold, but they are Canadian and probably not much help to you.  A friend of mine I've known since the 90s in British Columbia owns a company called Vancouver Petrographics, and they do analysis for many of the big gold companies, diamonds as well (Da Beers), etc.  If you want I can get you his contact info as he may know who the best/most honest silver/gold companies are in the USA that may possibly be open to doing transactions in your area.  I'll try and contact him, they are closed over the holidays I'm sure, and not sure about the Covid restrictions in his area, but I will try.  Sucks about your foreclosure, I really hope you can move your metal.

I remember when I bought my first Maple Leaf for just over 300 bucks, and my father told me I was being stupid.  Still, I wish I'd bought in on Bitcoin right at the beginning instead...

Might you post the coin you have here?
I for one might be interested depending on what it is.
