I remember those ads several moons ago.

I came here after the demise of Air Warrior back in the dial-up days of decades gone by.  Was in search of a combat flight sim, having been first seen (in 1990 or so, Hellcats over the Pacific on the Mac), then found Air Warrior and was more than thrilled that you could start a multi-engine aircraft one engine at a time with Air Warrior.   

Hitech does a mountain of work in a day when there's only about a pebble's worth in a day available.

 

From my experience, most long term subscribers I met found this game thru a commercial on the military channel. Commercials are where it's at. I think things like bumper stickers and hats are the cheapest way to market and have hundreds if not thousands of people see your advertisement.

I was at the gun range wearing an Aces High hat, the cashier saw the hat and said that he used to play that game.

In 20 years I had never had a player see my hat and say something.

Back in 2008 my 11 year old son was watching battle 360 or wings, can't remember for sure, on the history channel and saw the aces high commercial. He pestered me for weeks wanting to play the game. Finally mom join in and I gave in. The rest is history. He is responsible for bravoa8, delta7, munteg, killer91, freeze15, and 1 more that I can't remember what they went by. Advertising works because I wouldn't be here if it was not for it. Make some hats.

There are online clothing companies that will do this for you. You pick the design/artwork, and what clothing items you want, and they make a website that takes care of it all. You send your patrons there, they purchase, and the clothing company and you split the costs. It is easier than you think.
