Stocks go crazy for the simplest of things.... mostly because people are crazy. Yes I was making a point and just didn't tie it in. I left it bare for folks to do with it as they may.

DmonSlyr, if you haven't noticed. No business EVER pays taxes, their customers always pay it for them in the cost of increased prices. This is a simple truism that folks who have no concept of economics just do not understand. Then they get bent out of shape over the price increase. Businesses are in business to make money. When they do not make money they fold and the jobs as well as taxes and increase in local economy goes away. It is simply impossible to tax either a person or business of any kind into prosperity. Hence the flight from high tax locations by industry into lower tax locations.

But of course Biden's canceling of Keystone (so far for at cost of 1K jobs), WILL not cause an increase in gasoline prices, halting the border wall will NOT increase illegal immigration (NOT to mention the 100 day pausing of deportation), canceling or pausing
the student debt will NOT cause chaos in the financial sector, etc.

It will either go up due to massive inflation or crash because Bidet* will do exactly everything wrong and tank the economy.   Inflation is percolating.   How long until it boils is anyone’s guess, but inside a year is likely a long shot.   Deflation is also a threat for different reasons.

I am now totally out of the market.  I’ve taken my winnings off the table.
