Kustenfliegergruppe 106 was a maritime reconnaissance and attack group attached to the Kriegsmarine that operated over the Bay of Biscay against Allied shipping. From time to time in 1941 they also participated in the night Blitz of Britain. Because of that this 2./Ku 106 aircraft M2+AK had its undersides and white markings over-painted in black.
