ATF agents are comedians too
« on: April 15, 2021, 05:43:28 AM »
Is anyone else in a bit of a rush to buy their next firearm?

With all of the talk on the news I've been inspired to hurry up and get some stripped lower receivers for my sister's kids and 3 more complete lowers for myself to ensure that I stay ahead of the curve for my own future projects.  Currently I'm putting together a retro style AR with a fixed stock, carry handle and triangular handguard.

I came across this explanation of ATF tax stamps for firearms that don't fit the legal definition of a rifle, shotgun or pistol and I'm still laughing.  Everything with a read banner requires a ATF tax stamp.  $200 for short barreled rifles / shotguns or $5 for an A.O.W. (Any Other Weapon)
