These? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015PII6YI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I use em. Love em. My bro was toying with the springs or screws or whatever in them at the bottom to loosen it up or whatever

Mine are brand new and it is impossible to make incremental adjustments to rudder. Cant line shots up at all

I use CH pedals, had to recently replace the potentiometers, but they still work great. Sad to hear about the Thrust Master stuff having quality issues, used to be they were top of the line.

I am very happy with the warthog...I guess that's what I should expect out of the cheapest pedals they sell...looking into CH

I'm on my 3rd T.16000M. The first lasted almost 5 years. The second had the trigger and hat switch wear out in just over 2 years. But what's worse is that the Z-axis sensor started giving me issues on both newer stick after about a month. The first time the sensor actually broke from tension on the wires during stick movement. With the newer stick, I caught the problem before the sensor snapped. I disassembled the base and handle to give more slack in the sensor's wires in the handle. Seems to have done the trick after 2 weeks since the repair.

I had a Saitex X55 for a while, but the hatswitch went out, and they didn't make any replacements as the switch was custom made by them. I now have a Logitech X56, a much better built version of the saitex X55. Haven't had any problems with it yet, its about 3 years old now. :D

you can buy the yaw pots for about 2 bucks a pop and just solder them in. went through 3 sticks with bad yaw sensors until i fugured this out.

The first broken one I repaired myself by scavenging the sensor from my first T.16000M. I opened up the newest stick expecting to find the sensor broken as well, but it wasn't yet. adding slack to the wires solved the problem for now.

If you are going to get CH Pedals, you are better off looking for used CH pedals that were made before CH was bought out.  You will find that the used CH pedals build quality will still be vastly superior to a shining brand new set of CH pedals and despite their age and being used, will last longer than a new set will.

I still have the very first USB CH Pedals CH made stored in my closet that still works perfectly, haven’t  even had to change or clean the pots on it at all, solid and very well built.  I can plug it in and it will work flawlessly just like it did after I took it off the production line.  I ended being given a couple of new CH Pedals by an old co-worker that was still at CH after I had left the company.  The pedals I was given at that time were made after Chuck Hayes sold CH to some French industrial company and production was moved south of the border with little or no QA oversight and both pedals worked like crap out of the box.  The pots were defective, wiring harnesses were damaged, the bases were warped, in short, these set of pedals wouldn't have made it off the production line and would have been trashed if CH was still family owned and made at their Vista, CA HQ like the stuff was when I was the senior PC tech.

This is the thing with the "cheaper" controllers. They cost less to buy but in recent years they seem too be slapped together with apparently little to no QC or support of any kind. They don't last as long and develope problems quickly. After replacing my CH game port pedals with some USB Saiteks after a while the stickiness of the plastic on plastic action just ran its course with me. I replaced them with MFG Crosswinds and don't see ol have a reason to ever have to replace them. They're pricey but also incredibly well built by another flight sim guy that actually cares about his product. I didn't think they could possibly be improved upon but another guy came out with a damper mod kit for them that works so well he's now making them for MFG and its now available thru them as an add on for the peds. IMO they're the best of the better peds fit the money.

I know the idea was to not break the bank but if you buy cheapie peds that you're not happy with right away, have problems with them and end up replacing them you're right at the price where you could have had something better that will likely last you as long as you're doing this. That was my thinking anyway. They're that good. AND if you decide to retire from flight sims you'll have no problem whatsoever unloading them.

With a mechanic's eye I don't see these things ever messing up. They're all composite construction with sealed ball bearings at every pivot point. All contactless sensors so no pots. Easily the last peds I'll ever have to buy. If you can.. Get them.

The same with the VKB T-Rudders Mk IV I replaced my original CH Pedals with., and the VKB Ggunfighter III w/Space grip that I bought to replace my prototype Jane's F-16 USB Combat Stick and the Virpil MongoosT-50 CM3 dual throttle that replaced my modified Pro Throttle that I had for about 21 years.  The Virple throttle can also be used as a home defense weapon, just clunk the burger on the head with one and you cave in their skull.

Exactly! I have a VKB Gunfighter with MCG-Pro too. I think if I hit you with it I might kill you. The CH Fighterstick? It'd prolly shatter and just generally piss you off! Still waiting on my VKB friends to come out with their long awaited throttle. On the edge of thinking it's vaporware. Hope not.
